In my work I search for Geometry, composition and Tonal Harmony.
I believe that this is the basis of both figurative and abstract Painting.
I ask questions of painting in an Ars-poetic talk with myself constantly and that is why the theme is sometime absence from the painting. For me light and shadow falling on an object are enough.
Every person, or landscape or object have its own personal significant geometry, and if I'll be accurate with the geometry and tone, their story will arise from the painting by itself.
A painter needs to paint what the eye see and not what the mind knows, and we always search for beauty.
