I like to use photography as a basis for my screen prints and I start by trying to reflect the graphic quality of the subject. For a while now, I've been interested in the natural landscape and how it has been shaped by humans. My current work focuses on the fragility of these man-made transformations. For me, the collapsing metal framework of the West Pier at Brighton reminds us of the power of nature and how nothing lasts forever.
