Heliogravure intaglio etching
57 x 30 cm
2026
Martin MARTIN makes etchings of the British landscape
about the forgotten history of places.
He exhibits nationwide from his converted chapel studio in Dorset.
For him narrative is at the heart of every image. Rather than creating a pretty picture, his landscapes become metaphors for the human condition, each one carrying its own history, symbolism and story of our connection to the land.
Working in heliogravure, an intaglio printmaking process with a history stretching back 200 years, Martin combines traditional craftsmanship with a deeply personal approach to image making.
