Lisa’s current practice explores motion, stillness and duration: focusing on the spaces in between, shifting vistas and changing light.
The prints submitted began with photos taken on the move, through train windows, capturing fleeting glimpses of unknown landscapes or transient skies.
These works reference other aspects of moving through landscape:
‘In Between’ is created to be the size and shape of a physical train ticket, whereas ‘Rise’ follows the format of the social media grid to present a series of consecutive snapshots which echo video film cells.
